I took a darkroom photography class in high school, which inspired a major in photojournalism, and I have since created images all over the world. I have worked professionally in architecture, portrait, and lifestyle genres, learning the craft and honing my skills along the way.
When the world shut down in 2020, I found my way back to my true love - documentary photography. Following my toddler with a camera made me realize that I don't need to be in Cuba or Africa to do photography that I love. What's true and beautiful resides in our homes.

Traveling to a place where they don’t speak your language, seeing a Broadway Musical, trying durian fruit even though it smells like old meat. In the end, it's the lived experience that truly enriches our lives. Life’s fleeting moments are the most invaluable and precious things we have.
Rules are essential to learn because they provide structure, understanding, and a foundation for growth. By knowing the rules, we gain the insight needed to challenge them with purpose. Only through mastery can we break rules in ways that are thoughtful, creative, and transformative.
Love is universal—it knows no boundaries of identity, background, or circumstance. It embraces all people, exactly as they are, without conditions or exceptions. Everyone deserves to love and be loved, freely and fully, simply by being human.

If I were fortunate enough to have more than one home, I would shack up in Barcelona, Spain, so I could live amongst the art, beaches, and delectable food.
What is free time when you have a kid? These days, if I get a moment, you can find me drawing, walking, watching a musical, or on a beach playing volleyball.
